An employee of Fiat near Stockholm, Sweden noticed that Google’s fine Street View drivers were making a sweep of the area. As the Daily Mail reports it , he drove a Fiat 500 and parked it in front of Volkswagen’s HQ in Sodertalje, around 30 miles south of Stockholm. He thought it might make for a fun picture when the Street View car came around. He was right

Earlier this year, sources reported that Porsche had stopped work on an entry-level sports car that was to slot in below the Boxster. Why? Because the sales gains wouldn’t offset the dilution of the brand, and because Porsche (at that moment, anyway) had its eyes on higher-end, higher-performance models with larger profit margins

The Fisker Karma (Credit: Fisker Automotive) Fisker Automotive received worrying news last week when a Karma sedan burned in a house fire in Texas. The cause is still being investigated, according to the company. The fire started shortly after a new Karma owner parked the car in a garage, according to a report in Autoweek . A fire investigator told Autoweek that the Karma, which was not plugged in, was the origin of the fire, but the cause was not known. Fisker released a statement saying that the electric car’s battery pack was intact and “does not appear to be a contributing factor in this incident.” The Fisker Karma is a luxury sports car that runs on electric motors and has a gasoline engine to extend the driving range
