• Many people believe that the higher the colour temperature the brighter the lamp. This is completely wrong. The color temperature is a scale to measure the colour of the light. The higher up the scale the lamps are, the less bright they become (not by much) and the more blue and purple are added to the color of the light. For the best lighting performance we recommend between 6000 - 18000K HID lamps. This is because they give you light that is closest natural daylight while at the same time keeping the light output strong and consistent.
